N.p.: Jeanclaude, 1981. First edition of 200 copies. 8vo, 24pp. Text in French and English. 9 mounted images of circles and squares on a background that gradually shifts from all black to all white. Staple bound in white printed wrappers. Some toning and light wear. Very good. An interesting piece of esoterica from an unknown author which consists of an introduction followed by 9 short pieces accompanied by images, which describe how the soul goes from an unconscious to a conscious state.  The author explains; "As the hermit-crab which, during its growth, must leave its shell which has become too small, in order to seek a larger one, so must our consciousness leave a frame which, having once acted as a protection, has now become a prison.  Our human adventure and our becoming is to evolve gradually from an unconscious state to a state of pure consciousness."
