This copy signed and warmly inscribed by center and All-Star that year, James Donaldson #40 to Jack and Helen Leffler on the copyright page. Laid in are 6 large black and white, copyrighted photographs by Jack E. Leffler, who was the Seattle Supersonics photographer at the time, and would have known Donaldson from his previous stint with the team. 3 of the photographs are signed by Leffler. 4 of the photos are NBA stars in action, including one each of Stockton and Malone. One photo is of Leffler courtside, and the last is a Sky Eye photograph of two mountain peaks in the Northwest. Wonderful association copy in near fine condition with light soiling to the front board.

Very good with minimal wear to boards, spine label lightly faded. Jacket spine sunned and with chipping at spine ends and corners, and a couple tape repairs to the underside. Signed copy of this autobiography from Shidzue Katō (1897-2001), influential Japanese feminist who was particularly important in establishing birth control education in japan.  Following the publication of this work, Katō would go on to serve as the first woman elected to the national legislature of Japan.

Staple bound in white printed wrappers. Some toning and light wear. Very good. An interesting piece of esoterica from an unknown author which consists of an introduction followed by 9 short pieces accompanied by images, which describe how the soul goes from an unconscious to a conscious state.  The author explains; "As the hermit-crab which, during its growth, must leave its shell which has become too small, in order to seek a larger one, so must our consciousness leave a frame which, having once acted as a protection, has now become a prison.  Our human adventure and our becoming is to evolve gradually from an unconscious state to a state of pure consciousness." We find no mention of this author/publication in OCLC nor elsewhere.  .

This is an interesting copy, complete in original mailing envelope addressed to Dick Bosse, proprietor of the historic Aldredge Book Shop in Dallas, and postmarked Dec. 23, 1972. The envelope is tattered along the top, opened edge and split partway down each side.
