It has marbled end papers and 288, clear lightly toned pages (plus a 78 page glossary), gilt edged all around bound in gilt edged brown leather. The spine has 6 gilt panels with gilt designs in panels, one panel is red with gilt titles. The Latin text of the 6 books seems to be in rhyme.
