Frontispiece of a 4-leaf clover, perhaps indicating that the author is Irish. Old dampstain to lower front cover, a little shelf wear to edges, small bookplate on front end paper, but in general quite a nice, bright copy. O'meara was the author of: Narka, the Nihilist (1887). She claimed to be related to Barry OÂ’Mara, NapoleonÂ’s physician.

Imprint at lower right: Petrus Kaerius coelavit. Plate size is 51.5cm x 37cm, on a sheet measuring 55.5cm x 47cm. Small yellowed tape remains on verso at bottom of fold, some splitting along lower fold, a clean very good copy. Text on verso is in French, the headings: La partie de Flandres plus Orientale and LA PARTIE DE FLANDRES / PLUS ORIENTALE. Page numbers on verso are 183/184. Signature mark is Eeee. London, c.1755.. A copper engraving on laid paper, not coloured. Sheet size is 36cm. x 25cm. Titled at bottom. Wrinkle in upper margin, a nice clean copy. This is a smaller version of a print by Johannes Kip after Leonard Knyff, earlier published in the Britannia Illustrata [1708]. This is the variety without the plate number at upper right, and without the legend "Toms f c." at lower right. Possibly from Maitlands Survey of London (1755).
