A BEAUTIFUL VERSION OF LA FONTAINE'S FABLES WITH ANDRE HELLE'S ARTFUL HAND-COLORED POCHOIR ILLUSTRATIONSIllustrated on every page with Andre Helle's serene, yet rich pochoir illustrations (hand-colored via a stencil). Text is In French. Small folio, cloth-backed pictorial boards, nd - circa 1925. Book's cover illustration is well-designed. Cover has very light dusting of soil mainly at edges. corners (front cvr) rubbed - more at bottom, back cover has vertical crease parallel to spine - does not affect back cover's strength. Front free ep has child's bookplate w/1925 date penciled in. A Beautiful Copy of these classic fables in VG condition.
