Longman, Brown, Green and Longmans. Third edition, 1852.. Hardcover. Good. Third edition, bringing down the history of the colony to the first of July, 1852. Complete in two volumes, xvi 494 pages. xi, 591 pages. Vol one with large folding map with old repairs to slight marginal tears. 21 x 13.5cm. Original blindstamped cloth, probably a made up set: Vol 1 is in olive green, vol 2 has faded to a pale brown. Vol 1 spine slightly frayed, bottom board slightly damped at some time and bleached to outside edge. Vol 2 lacking 3.5cm of top of backstrip, but retaining the gilt title. Some very occasional light browning and spotting of contents. Overall a good clean tightly bound usable set.
