The covers retain much of their original color, there are just a couple of very small spots on the covers. The binding is solid. The dust jacket is in just good condition; there is fraying and moderate toning along most of the edges. A few chips are present. The spine of the jacket is heavily sunned/toned, but the writing (author, title, original price) are still very readable. The dust jacket is now in a clear, archival removable cover. The brown covers are in very good condition, only minor color loss along the top front and a few tiny flecks on front and back. The title, author, and publisher are in bright gold on spine. The dust jacket has the major condition issue with this book. There is a large crease and a 1" tear at the top front of the jacket. Also, there is a small tear (less than 1/2") on the back. The jacket is now protected in a clear, archival removable cover. The binding is solid. The interior of this book is in very good plus condition. The pages are clean and bright. Except for the authors' signature, there is no writing or markings detected. The book appears to be unread. The book includes several black and white illustrations by Nancy Ricker Rhett.
