Description:
The sole UK printing published by Glasgow: Scottish National Congress (nd). The BOOK is in near Fine condition in stapled decorated wrappers and protected in a loose Mylar archival cover. A collection of fourteen uncredited songs, the first of which, 'On the Asportation of the Scone Stone' has been attributed to MacDiarmid, though not directly by him. In this copy, Hugh MacDiarmid however validates this attribution by signing his name at the base of the poem : 'Signed with best wishes from, Hugh MacDiarmid'. A scarce item in its own right but most probably unique with such attributes. Collectible. Ashton Rare Books welcomes direct contact
