Philadelphia: Mathew Carey, 1787. First Edition. Volume Two of The American Museum, over 600 pages, octavo, rebound in full leather, new endpapers, red leather spine label and gilt print. Includes very early printings of the Constitution and first six letters of the Federalist Papers. Very Good, some issue title pages and several other pages with loss to fore-edge margins archivally mended or strengthened, few pages with old agricultural college blindstamp.

Boston: Henry F. Walling, 1853. 26.8 inches high by 37 inches wide. Full hand color by town. Laid down on linen, rollers at top and bottom. Near Fine. Beautiful color.

New York: Harper and Brothers, (1961). First Edition stated. Author's first book, and realistic contemporary picture of Texas ranching. Near Fine in Very Good or better dustjacket (with $3.50 price).

New York: George P. Putnam & Co., , 1854. First Edition, first issue. Beautifully illustrated with 20 chromolithograph plates, 15 of birds by Mrs. Webber, and 5 of Native American scenes by the great early Western artists, Alfred Jacob Miller. Miller's works are very scarce in chromolithograph format. The plate of Indian Girl Swinging shows her bare-breasted as called for in the first issue (in later printings she has been provided a blouse). Large octavo (binding is approximately 7 inches wide and 10 inches tall). In the scarce publisher's full black Morocco, highly decorated in gilt on both the front and back covers and the spine. Both covers have a large depressed lozenge with a gilt bird in the center. Very scarce in the deluxe Morocco binding. Near fine with light edge wear.

New York: Jarmor Publishing Co, (1933). First Edition. Original printed faux leather over boards, octavo, 170 pages plus blank note pages. Large formatted cocktail recipe guide book published immediately after the demise of prohibition. WorldCat locates six library holdings. The anonymous author's collaborator Patrick W. Guinee is described on title page as being "formerly of the Old Iroquois Bar, Plainfield, New Jersey, and one of the best Mixers in the days when drinks were Drinks." Very Good attractive volume

Boston: L. C. Page and Co. , 1908. First Edition. Author's first book and most famous work. This copy in a very early issue of the dustjacket with advertisements for titles published by Page no later than 1909 at the rear panel. Differs from the Cameron Treleaven copy in the titles listed at rear panel. A sharp Very Good plus copy (expertly and unnoticeably recased) with few pages showing paper acidity browning, few pages with a dime sized brown stain, few smudges to pages. Dustjacket has some browning scotch tape at verso, light staining to spine, shallow chipping to spine ends and panels.

New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1990. First Edition. Octavo, 8 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches. Map decorated paper over boards slipcase, brown leather over boards, gilt lettering and decorations at spine, six raised bands at spine, top and bottom edges green, gray end papers, bookmark ribbon still attached, number 240 of 350 copies signed by the author at Limited Edition page. Near Fine slip case, slightly faded from the original purple color, small bump at bottom end, fine overall.

Contains photomechanical reproductions of photographic views of Cottage City, Vineyard Haven, Gay Head and other places on the island, together with views of Wood's Hole. Includes street views, hotels, residences, waterfronts, steamships, beaches and other views. 43 pages of illustrations. 6 copies on Worldcat. Near fine condition.
