Boston, Newport, Niagara, Philadelphia, washington, interviews of Indians with their "Great Father". The Irish in America, The west, the mormons, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, the plantations. This is a full Blue Moroccon Leather that has some shelf wear and wear and a tear to the upper spine.. There is a gilt dragon with a coat of arms on the front and TEG. There are 5 raised bands and gilt titles on the spine. Blue silk endpapers and 223 pages. Also listed are two more of the same series in the same binding - Beautiful; Britain - Oxford" and "Beautiful Britain - Vanished and Vanishing London". 75 illustrations are as bright as when they were published. A beautiful looking book on the shelf. The author kept a journal of his travels and his appointment as travelling physician for the Count and Countess Vorontzof. His travels take him from London to Russia and throughout Russia and back to London.
