Description:
Boston: Henry Hoyt, 1876. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. This copy is clean and tight. It has an inscription on a front end paper (:be faithful to the end"); otherwise it is unmarked. It is basically square with only a slight roll. It is lightly bumped corners and ends of the spine. The boards are covered in brown cloth with black decorations on the boards. The titles are elaborate gold, spine and front. There is no author or date noted. We found a copy published in London in 1882 with Neame as author, but we believe Hoyt stopped publishing in 1876 so we used that date. A very rare book for people interested in this genre.
