[Owner name and biographical inscription of Anna Wilson, daughter of John and Rebecca Moorman, wife of George Wilson, born June 18th 1784 and deceased August 27th 1867.] Naylor was born at Ardsley, Yorkshire, in 1618 and died in Huntingdonshire in 1660. He was a Puritan Fanatic. He served as quartermaster in the Parliamentary Army in 1641 and in 1651 became a Quaker. Under the delusion that he was a reincarnation of Christ, he entered Bristol, Oct. 1655, on horseback, naked, in imitation of Christ's entry into Jerusalem.
