Particular attention is paid to the primers printed by Ivan Fedorov, discovered only in the middle of the 20th century.

The catalogue of an exhibition arranged to commemorate the fourth centenary of the death of Jean Grolier. 138 volumes from British and Irish libraries were exhibited, nearly a quarter of those known ta have survived. From the study of the tools used, Nixon identify the shop which produced by far the greatest number of Grolier's bindings (items 19-111) and earlier known as Entrelac binder as Claude de Picques, the binder of Henri II. Included 11 plates with rubbings of tools and 128 photographs of bindins.
