He created the look of the Road Runner cartoons. After 1960 Noble received a co-directing credit on films with Chuck Jones, including the Oscar Winner: The Dot and the Line (based on the book by Norton Juster). He worked on a number of Dr. Seuss films including: How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
