Boston: Little, Brown and Company, 1945. 333 pp. A collection of poems from previous works that were out of print at the time of publication with 31 other previously unpublished poems. Stated first edition. Some staining to the jacket and binding. Inside cover page features an inscription and signature. "For Gary Woolson- Bringing clangor to quiet Bangor- Ogden Nash." Also included is an envelope and pamphlet titled "Favorite Pieces from the Writings of Ogden Nash" The pamphlet is also signed and inscribed. "For Gary W. Woolson- I agree. Shorts are for verses, not for matrons. Ogden Nash 10/15/65." Gary Woolson was a collector and dealer from the Bangor, Maine area.

N.B. conveys to London in fix days, and to all parts of Northamptonshire. 7 1/2"x 6 1/4". Good with a fold and soiling. On verso in ms. is a freight bill to H. Stubs dated 1796.An unrecorded provincial broadside advertising the services of a water carrier in the pottery district. Stoke-on-Trent is located in the heart of the 18th century English pottery manufacture, a little more than half the distance between Birmingham and Manchester.
