Stated first edition. Some staining to the jacket and binding. Inside cover page features an inscription and signature. "For Gary Woolson- Bringing clangor to quiet Bangor- Ogden Nash." Also included is an envelope and pamphlet titled "Favorite Pieces from the Writings of Ogden Nash" The pamphlet is also signed and inscribed. "For Gary W. Woolson- I agree. Shorts are for verses, not for matrons. Ogden Nash 10/15/65." Gary Woolson was a collector and dealer from the Bangor, Maine area.

N.B. conveys to London in fix days, and to all parts of Northamptonshire. 7 1/2"x 6 1/4". Good with a fold and soiling. On verso in ms. is a freight bill to H. Stubs dated 1796.An unrecorded provincial broadside advertising the services of a water carrier in the pottery district. Stoke-on-Trent is located in the heart of the 18th century English pottery manufacture, a little more than half the distance between Birmingham and Manchester.
