143pp, endpapers w/map illustration. Fine in As New dustjacket, protected with clear mylar. A book about Chavez Ravine, an area eventually razed to build Dodger Stadium. SIGNED and inscribed by author on ffep:Nancy, you liked my words and admired my pictures. Thank you. It helped a lot. Love, Don Seattle, Sept, 1999 (see photo). In 1949, photographer Normark walked up into the hills of Los Angeles looking for a view and discovered this area of three neighborhoods collectively known as Chavez Ravine. He was accepted by the residents and took photographs for a year. Pristine copy of a rare classic, beautifully inscribed by the author.
