Orig. limp vellum, spine hand lettered. With some significant old worming, all repaired (filled in). One worm track at the outer margin, and a few others which end at around p. 70 of the text. Some text words are affected, but overall readability is good. Also with an old repaired tear at the outer margin of the title page and first 10 leaves. Final leaf of table reinforced at inner margin. A very rare book relating to Papal bulls and indulgences by the Catholic Church in Spain. Large sections relate to the native people of the New World (Mexico and Latin America). Pages 148-200 are sub-titled, "Despachos para las Indias"; pp. 241-276 and pp. 285-288 are titled, "Instruccion para las Indias; pp. 97-102 are titled, "Distrib. de la hazien. que viene de Indias.
