His wife convinces him to take a job, from a distant relative, that involves driving an 18-wheeler to and from New Jersey. Frozen shrimp one way, with lobster and more back. All three authors are fisherman and tipped-in color photos show them with various catches. The illustrations by Parks are also full color and tipped-in.

There is a photo of an attacking black mamba opposite the limitation page, where Parker and Parks have signed. Short story about young woman who has kept her deceased boyfriend's black mamba. Snake of course escapes into her house. Book is 22 pages long and measures 10 ½ by 8 inches.

The limited edition book (11 of 81 numbered copies) contains twelve poems, a collection  of classical Mexican poetry spanning five centuries by eleven of Mexico's greatest poets with an introduction by Weinberger, commentary and notes on each poem by Nobel Laureate Paz, and a discussion between Weinberg and Paz concerning Beckett’s (also a Nobel Laureate) translation of the poems. The book includes multicolor etchings created especially for this edition by Enrique Chagoya who is becoming one of  the most  highly regarded  Mexican-American  artists of his generation. The twelve full-page plates were produced by the master printer, Jesus Romero under the supervision of the artist; each signed in pencil by Chagoya.
