Exceptionally scarce jacket is fragile and has been placed in a loose protective sleeve. The book is well preserved with no major faults. The book is inscribed 'to Noel Miles with my compliments Tom Quilty.' Noel was a geologist for a mining company that worked the Hall's Creek - De Grey area in the 1950's. Thomas John Quilty (1 April 1887 - 1979) was an Australian station owner, pastoralist, philanthropist, and bush poet.
