Cover rubbed around edges, some creases to front, some minor tanning to rear. Steel ringbinding slightly rusted. Endpapers clean, no inscriptions. Inside pages all very clean, crisp, bright and tight. Maps clean and bright. Else a very good clean and tight copy. 46pp. With many B&W illustrations and photo plates. Very Scarce. Originally published by The Architectural Press, then Batsford, then Faber.

London, Faber and Faber, (1939) 1st ed.. Hardback, Ringbound. 9 x 7 inches. White cloth covers with red backed lettering to spine. In illustrated dustwrapper. In very good condition with very good dustwrapper (DW some darkening and handling marks, edges rubbed with some small tears to edges and tears/nicks to corners. Not price clipped.) Cover with some minor darkening to spine and edges. Steel ringbinding slightly rusted. Neat inscription to endpaper “A. Reed. May 1943.” A couple of very minor handling marks else inside pages all very clean and tight. Maps clean and bright. Else a very good clean and tight copy. Two loose articles inside on St. Mary’s Wedmore & The Wells Clock. 46pp. With many B&W illustrations and photo plates. Scarce - Faber took over the Shell guides from Batsford in 1939.
