The very faintest spine lean, but binding is sound. Minor edge wear to jacket with a bit of chipping and a chunk missing at bottom spine. Price clipped. Publisher's stain on top edge and deckled fore-edge.

Binding has a lean and is starting to separate in a couple places. Top front corner of board is bumped and spine ends are crushed. Otherwise very little wear to boards.

Readers Union, 1964. Hardcover. Very good/Good. With illustrations and photographs from various sources. Boards are straight and with very faint spotty discoloration to front and rear facings. Spine is square and binding is tight. Pages are clean and unmarked save for a note written on front endpaper. Jacket is tanned and worn around the edges. Rubbing to jacket and with a few closed tears and chipping at the top and base of spine. Bottom right corner of front liner flap is clipped.

Binding is tight and spine is free of any reading creases. Spine ends chipping/peeling heavily. Else moderate creasing and wear to covers.
