This hard to find LP is a Very Good Vinyl Record, meaning this Vintage Vinyl Record has excellent sound reproduction overall, with some background or surface noise, and occasional static, as common on pressings of this era. The Very Good Record Sleeve shows some wear at edges, but is clean and unmarked, with an illustrion to front cover, and notes on the music, composers and performers to rear. .

Issued By the Quartet / Pressed By Capitol Records. Very Good Plus Vinyl Records/Very Good Record Sleeve. 1977. 331/3 RPM LP VINYL RECORD and BOOK. Signed In 1966, Irwin Eisenberg, Carter Enyeart, Alan Iglitzin and Stanley Ritchie, members of The Philadelphia String Quartet moved to Seattle to become the University of Washington's Quartet-in-Residence, a position it held until 1982. During its 30-year tenure, the Quartet made numerous international tours and recorded much of the chamber music repertoire. In 1984, Mr. Iglitzin founded the Olympic Music Festival on Washington's Olympic Peninsula. This two record set features live performances by the Quartet from the 1976-77 Beethoven cycle: Quartet in D Major / Quartet in C Major / Quartet in F Major / Great Fugue. 2 records in an illustrated gatefold sleeve. ALL FOUR MEMBERS OF THE QUARTET HAVE SIGNED THEIR NAMES IN INK NEXT TO THEIR PHOTOGRAPHS ON THE INSIDE OF THE SLEEVE. .
