Plates and text are laid into publisher's portfolio, original cloth ties missing. Binding has a water stain to front cover that bled through and has left a stain on the cover and has bled through to the first four pages of the half-title and title page. No damage to plates within, interior text and plates very clean and sharp. All text is in French. Oversize portfolio, may require additional postage.

In 1947 they updated and republished this book which highlights both their designs for buildings, furniture, and interiors, as well as traditional Japanese architecture with both photographs and cross section drawings. An important piece by Antonin and Noémi Raymond who completed some stunning work both in the United States and abroad but are best known for their mid-century modern work and structures in Japan in the 1930s. 119 pp. 4to. Heavy brown papers with a rattan pattern, white plastic comb binding that allows book to lay flat, which is important for the interior photographs and drawings. Light chipping and wear, very clean and overall which is not always the case with this book.
