Roughly translated, the title in English would be "100 years of steam shipping 1807 - 1907 - descriptions and sketches from the developmental history of the steam ship." Blue cloth hardcover with gilt spine lettering in dustjacket. This is the 1983 re-issue of the 1907 publication. A good copy in a fair dustjacket. Some soiling and light staining at the board edges, along with thumbing to the front textblock edge. A hard bump to the heel of the spine. Large gift inscritpion to the front endpaper in blue sharpie marker appears to be the only writing in the book. Binding and hinges are solid and the pages are clean. Fold out schematic bright and intact at rear. The dustjacket is chipped and torn, only fair - but holding together. 300 pp., 125 black and white illustrations and photos.

An unusual book of Christian legal interpretations.

Unclipped jacket with matching bumps to the rear panel, but still very good - clean and attractive. 183 pp., limitation page at rear, but not numbered so this is most likely a reprint. Rapp made his life as a wandering entertainer, a magician and conjurer.

A clean, straight and tight copy, as if unread. The jacket is also very good, bright and clean. Unpaginated, bibliography at rear, full color illustrations by Horak including a page with an illustrated map of the race course. A great piece of Minnesota history.

The interior is much better, clean and unmarked in a solid binding. 648 pp., with an index of names and an index of denominations. From the introduction, "An individual or family may be traced to a particular parish, but their names do not appear in the records of the Established Church. Rather, they can only be found in the records of one of the nonconformist chapels in the area." A useful genealogical guide for Welsh family research.
