Black cloth is worn and stained, spine rubbed and marked, and leans aslant at the base, edges dusty with shelf-wear stains, a name to the front free endpaper has been whited-out with correction fluid, small stain to half-title, text generally clean and sound (two page corners turned over, a few pages nicked to the fore-edge - probably caused in production); dust-wrapper is not price-clipped, but is creased to the edges and flaps, rubbed/chipped to the spine ends and corners with one or two small tears.
