Scuffing at the bottom front corners of the cloth. The interior is clean and tight, as if unread. The jacket is not quite as good with chips and short tears along the panel edges, mostly at the folds, and some spots of soil. Wrinkling and crinkling along the top of the panel edges. 103 pp., Sackheim's collection of quotations meant to be read as poetry. Unusual, and difficult to find in cloth binding.

Signed and inscribed by co-author and American hero Alek Skarlatos on the page facing the half-title, "To Carolyn - It was great to meet you, thanks for the support!" Black hardcover 1st edition with silver spine titles in dustjacket. A good+ copy but with a hard bump to the head of the spine, and a smaller bump to the bottom edge of the front board. A clean tight copy, unmarked other than the author's inscription. Unclipped dustjacket is very good - bright and attractive with minimal wear to the panel edges. 245 pp., the story of a terrorist attack averted by three alert and heroic American travelers. Alek Skarlatos, who signed this copy, has run for Oregon 4th Congressional District - US House of Representatives in two elections.

Some minor bumping to the edges of the boards, otherwise like new. Clean, tight, and unmarked. 596 pp., heavily indexed and filled with black and white photos and maps. Details about specific battles, soldiers, and incidents. It appears to be written from a German-sympathetic view point.

Denmark: Glasmuseum, Ebeltoft, 1994. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good/very good. Black hardcover in dustjacket, text in English and Danish. A very good copy. Edges and corners are straight and the binding is solid. There are a few stray marks to the last few pages, barely noticeable. Dustjacket is also very good, with minor edge-wear and bit of light soiling to the white panels. 46pp., full color representations of Munch's beautiful glass ware.

California: Yosemite Association, 1997. Third printing. Hardcover. Very Good. Hardcover children's illustrated book, lacking dustjacket - 3rd printing. Signed without inscriprtion on the half-title page by renowned illustrator Daniel San Souci. A very good copy with a hard bump at the bottom front corner - otherwise a straight and solid copy. Gift inscription neatly to the front free-endpaper, otherwise text is clean. Unpaginated, a beautiful picture book from the Yosemite Valley.

Washington DC: Sanz Publications, 1973. First edition thus. Hardcover. Good. Two volumes in good condition. Green cloth hardcovers with gilt titles, lacking dustjackets, presumably as issued. First thus. Both volumes with crimping at the spoine tips, and minor soiling along the top edge of the textblock. Book One with hard bumps to the top front corners, light soiling to the front board, and some minor pencil writing in the text. Book two is cleaner and tighter, as if the student didn't get that far. Combined, over 380 pages and multiple lessons. Known as "the professor" to presidents, Sanz founded a lanuge school in 1939 just blocks from the White House. His textbooks are scarce.

Previous owner's bookplate to the front fly. Text block is cocked forward. Binding is solid and pages are clean and unmarked. Unclipped jacket is also good only with an open tear (about 1.5 inches) at the bottom of the rear panel. General wear to the edges of the jacket panels and some soiling to the rear panel. 384 pp., Sarton's novel of the lifelong friendship between two women.

Blue hardcover, 1st revised edition in dustjacket. A good to very good copy with bumps and bending at the spine tips. Solid binding and hinges - a clean copy. Unclipped jacket is also near to very good with matching bumps at the spine tips and some creasing to the flaps. 276 pp., some black and white photos. The inspiring story of a legally blind sled racer and her tackling of the Iditarod.

Guatemala: Galeria Panajachel, 1977. Reprint. Hardcover. Good. Text in German. Hardcover reprint, lacking dustjacket, in good condion. Acclaimed artist Nan Cuz has created a beautiful collection of works to go with this native folklore book. General wear at the board edges, with four claw marks (??) to the front spine edge (I know that's a flaw but it somehow feels sexier than that), and a shallow tear at the rear cover joint. Brilliant and colorful illustrated covers. The interior is clean and solidly bound. 37 pp., with full color artwork throughout.

A good copy but previous reader opened it widely at the photo insert - binding intact but shaken and with a crease to the spine corresponding to the photo section. Remainder stripe to the bottom of the text-block edge, and light bumping and wear to the corners and spine tips. Pages are clean and unmarked. The dustjacket is more just a 1/3 height wrap around price intact and a bit of discoloration on the inside of the spine panel. 475 pp., indexed. A history of the slaves who fled their plantations to fight in the revolutionary war.

Signed and inscribed by the author on the front free-endpaper, "To Donna Best Wishes in Collecting Frankoma Good Luck Gary V Schaum" and signed again without inscription on the title page below his printed name, dated 9/13/97. No statement of edition but most likely a first. A fair to good copy with heavy bumps to the corners, scuffing to the covers and thumbing at the front edge from use. Interior is unmarked but pages are a bit worn and the guide has definitely been handled often by a Frankoma collector. Binding and hinges are still solid and the book is well put together. 199 pp., with color photos of the pieces throughout.

The binding and hinges are solid and the pages are clean and unmarked. 181 pp., a color and b/w photography and some plans. A beautiful collection of Zweifel's work.

A good copy with wear to the cover edges and corners, and a quarter-size area of paper loss toward the front edge of the front cover. Interior is much better, clean and unmarked other than the authors' signatures. Stapled binding is solid and the color photographs are clean. 44 pp., a nice identification and collecting guide by the descendants of the original porcelain manufacturers.

Signed without inscription by author Monte Schulz (son of cartoonist Charles Schulz) on the title page in the month of publication. Black hardcover with silver titles in dustjacket - a first edition. Book is in near fine condition, clean, tight, and square - unmarked other than the author's signature and apparently unread. The dustjacket is very good but with a couple of short chips/tears - at the folds and corners, and minor scuffing to the dark panels. 318 pp., a story of life and con men in the years before the great depression.

Trade paperback 1st edition, signed without inscription on the title page by Gail Simone, famed for Birds of Prey, and her work on Deadpool and Wonder Woman. A very good copy with minor shelf-wear. Clean tight and unmarked. 100 pp of short comics from notable female cartoonists.

A very good copy with little wear to the edges and a very slight curve at the front board. Clean and unmarked, tight as if unread. Dustjacket is also very good - bright and attractive with one small knick at the top of the front panel. 428 pp., indexed, charts, graphs and some photos. A beautiful book.

Signed and inscribed by the author on the title page, "For Gavin, I hope this Oregon rings true, best wishes - Keith." A very good copy with minor wear at the board edges and a bit of bending at the spine ends. A clean, solid copy, lightly read. Unclipped jacket is good with wrinkling at the heel of the spine and edgewear more pronounced at the upper ends of the folds. 332 pp., the author's third novel.

Wisconsin: Whitman Publishing Company, 1937. Paperback. Fair. Original card covers, 1937. Fair only condition - all pages present and legible - the bottom corner of page 37 is torn off, well below the end of the text. Small notations to the top of the front cover and the title page. Some pages have been colored in crayon - others are untouched. No bleed-through on pages that have been colored. There is soil to the covers and to some of the pages, and the low-quality paper is age-toned but no brittle. General edge-wear - it is showing it's age and use - but intact, spine solid and Eugene (the jungle pet) is adorable. 71 pp., tri-tone and quad-tone illustrations (except where enhanced with crayon).
