It has 209 bright, clear, pages bound in blue cloth covered boards with gold titles in a dark blue box on the spine. It is from the library of John Michael Kauffmann, author, reporter, conservationist, philanthropist and bears his lovely bookplate on the front paste down. Udall has inscribed the ffep to Kauffmann: "For John Kauffmann a friend who has served with distinction at Interior! Stewart Udall Nov. 6, 1968
