Illustrated by Paul Avril with two chromolithograph plates, many text illustrations in color and black and white, with decorative borders and headpieces. Bound by F.J. Pfister in full pictorial morocco in the pyrography or "Poker Work" style, the upper cover depicting an open illustrated fan surrounded by angles, with an angelic fantasy on lower cover and columns on the turn-ins.
