Boards are straight and clean, binding is strong and spine is square. Some sparse highlighting, underlining and notes in the margins of text.

Spines are lightly sunned and spine ends have softened. Slipcase has dampstaining along bottom surfaces and corners. Light damage from this incident to bottom front corners of volumes 1 and 3 and bottom of spine of volume 2. Top open edge of slipcase is chipping and one corner is ripped along top seam. Pastedown on slipcase is pristine.

Two stains on front board and some discoloration on both boards. Rubbing around all edges and cardboard is visible on corners and top and bottom edges of front board. Spine ends starting to fray. Sun lines across both back and front boards. Paste down on spine is sunned and has chips at edges.

Slipcase has wear and chipping to corners and edges.

Minor bubbling to board cloth & fraying to spine ends.
