This book is a propaganda against the Ottomans and seems that it deals with: how the German Reich should deal, i.e. defend itself against the Turks, discussing military measures that should be taken against the turks and how the costs of these military measures should be shared between the different social groups of the German society, defense of the christian region against the turks. About 14 are studio photographs; most in Paris and some in Cairo including one in Egyptian local dress signed by Lekegian in Cairo. Huda Sha'rāwī; (June 23, 1879 – December 12, 1947) was a pioneering Egyptian feminist leader, nationalist, and founder of the Egyptian Feminist Union. Born into a wealthy family in Minya, she was the daughter of Muhammad Sultan, the first president of the Egyptian Representative Council. Sha'rawi spent her childhood and early adulthood secluded in an upper-class Egyptian harem. At the age of thirteen, she was married to her cousin Ali Pasha Sha'rawi.
