Included are his famous "Babiy Yar" (site of the mass murder of Jews in Kiev) and the long poem "Zima Junction", set in his native Siberia. Portrait photo of the poet on inside front cover. Mass-market paperback, wraps lightly soiled and foxed along spine, worn at crown, stain to two pages in Introduction from laid-in newspaper clipping, otherwise pages unmarked. Theh clipping is Yevtushenko's "Letter to America", written in Cuba after JFK announced the trade blockade of the island (Feb. 1962).
