Large Octavo. 189 pages including Index. Hardcover. Bound in black cloth-covered boards and stamped in silver gilt. Includes music and carts along with instructions of 18th and 19th century dance. DJ is in black and white.
Condition: VG in vg dust jacket. DJ is unclipped but has a one inch closed tear and is protected by a Brodart. Book is tight and solid with no major issues except for scattered foxing. Overall, a nice copy. Please excuse the shadow on the photo of the front cover.

12mo. iv, 174 pages. Bound in green publisher's cloth with an Arts and Crafts themed Gilt impressed cover and spine. 13 photographic illustrations plus frontispiece. Uncut edges, top edge gilt. Published September, 1907 on copyright page.
Condition: Some color loss to front cover, damp staining to edge of book, affecting illustrations more than text pages. Frontispiece is torn with no paper loss. A few dogears.
James Buckham was born in Burlington, VT November 25, 1858 and died January 8, 1908. His father, M.H. Buckham was President of University of Vermont which he graduated from in 1881.
He penned books as both a naturalist and a speculative fiction writer.

Octavo. 201 pages plus index, addenda, postscript and list of subscribers. Six plates including frontispiece. Hardcover. Rebound in the late 19th/early 20th century in a green armorial leather binding stamped in gilt with what appears to be all maps and plates present. Marbled endpapers. Five raised bands.
Condition: VG with some edge wear and wear to hinges. Top edge of text block slightly darkened with age. Handwritten list of plates tipped in on blank page in front. Nice condition.
