The binding square, no marks or bruises and the colour is as new. The text is clean throughout - particularly the white endpapers (see photo). The text block is clean and the only defect is v slight spots to the top edge. The jacket has no nicks and is clean and sharp. Altered Carbon was awarded the Philip K Dick award and this and other volumes were made into a Netflix TV series. in 2018. An important SF debut.

This is one of 70 signed and numbered copies in a special binding with an appreciation by Ken Bruen. As in all of Ellory's novels it is set in the US. Ellory's break-through novel set in the South was A Quiet Belief in Angels. In 2018 Scorpion Press rebound twelve copies of the first edition in leather with five raised bands with the addition of a signed Author Profile page. They sold out immediately. Candemoth has also been rebound in leather in a run of thirteen books.

This the deluxe lettered state of the Scorpion edition of Ruth Rendell's Asta's Book. Regarded by many as her most personal book. It carries a critical appreciation by the doyen of crime writing, Julian Symons. Among his remarks he points to the Barbara Vine novels as being among the finest during the Eighties. It is signed by Ruth Rendell and Julian Symons. The binding is a fetching green morocco leather spine with five raised bands and gilt blocking. Matched by a patterned green marbled sides and top edge. The endpapers are green too. The book has been in store for nearly thirty years as is offered as new.
