Foxing to extremities throughout, faint shallow old dampstain of approximately 1/4"-3/8" deep at top of each volume. Overall a solid and clean copy of a scarce work with strong gilt spine titling. Great content including material on slavery, temperance, Indians, abolitionism, religion, education, commerce, travel etc. Howe's 921.
