Description:
American Mischief is a novel that attempts to define all the disorders of American culture like sexual anarchy, the collapse of monogamy, political madness, and the high cost of extreme behavior. The novel has two main protagonists that exemplify these disorders - Professor Bernard Kovell and Lenny Pincus. Kovell is a narcissistic, though amusing, character, and Pincus is a young radical that ends up in more trouble than he can handle. This is a Book of the Month Club edition published around 1973 (I believe). The book is still packaged in its original cellophane! So it is in very good condition, and it has never even been read! Book/Dust jacket in very good condition. The top of the book pages is stained red. Some small dots of staining on the side of the pages.
