Paperback. Good. Other than the light wear around the edges, this book has only one significant flaw: the toe of the spine is bumped and about a square inch of the cover is open. This also produced about a one-inch tear near the spine on the bottom of the front cover. The pages are unmarked and the binding is solid. The bottom edge at the front of the book is lightly soiled from shelf use.

Unknown Binding. Fair. This book was printed in 1819 by Mitchell, Ames, and White. It is quite water damaged and the pages are swollen and the cover is warped (the book is dry now and smells sound). The book has a stiff leather cover and intact binding; spine well worn and mostly illegible; half inch tear at top rear of spine, and 2 inch crack about half way down rear spine. Pages are very tanned with age and some darkened with dampspots, but readable. Back few pages are missing. Pages are brittle. Front blank end paper is leaf torn.
