Christenson: A cum laude graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Jim served with distinction in the U.S. Army from 1941 to 1946, winning the Legion of Merit award, then worked for the A.O. Smith Corporation for 41 years as an engineer, international sales director, and vice director of A.O. Smith's joint venture automotive plant in Monterey, Mexico. This is his functional library of information would be fascinating to anyone interested in this historical company... many pages.

Georg Walchs. The book is bound with "Rothige Gewissensfrage zur wahren Gottes Gelebrfamteit" by M. Jacob Samuel Schroern published by Joh. Friederich Ritter, 1745 in Jena. 88 pages. Abbildung der Jacobitischen oder Coptischen Kirche is a very scarce and important early work on Coptic Church. Both titles are in Old German Script. There is a subtle tear in the groove of the book. The binding is sound. The pages are quite toned, but quite readable. Images are available.

Philadelphia: W. B. Saunders, 1942 243 pages, prepared under the auspices of the committee on Surgery of the Division of Medical Sciences of the National Research Council. No. 3 of the the Military Surgical Manuals.

New York: Trident Press, 1966 437 pages, really quite nice with a two pages that have the corners bent although it seems unread in general. It appears to be first edition with unclipped dust jacket marked $5.95

East Aurora, New York: Roycrofters, 1928 60 pages, believe that this was the first hard cover edition, the first being issued as Elbert Hubbard's Little Journeys, which were pampflets.

Reading, Pa: Pilger Buchhandlung, 1896 28 pages, illustrated with chromaliths. Lied un spruch zum tagesfchlufs. Delicate thread not holding the heavy pages together. The sliver on the white pebbled boards is a bit faded.

Philadelphia: American Sunday School Union, 1835 24 pages, written for the american sunday school union and revised by the committee of publication, 3 block print illustrations, the little children's book is fairly foxed with a minor tear along the bottom of the backstrip.

Franckfurt Und Leipzig: Christian Heinrich, 1748 325 pages excluding index, red edged all around, several previous owner's signatures with dates back to 1777, great condition with a few worm chews, binding solid, may have originally had a clasp. Woodblock vignettes.

New York: Leypoldt & Holt, 1869 235 pages, exlibrary from a World War II POW Camp know as Fort Devens in Massachusetts. This is stamped in the book as is "censored Fort Devens, Mass." I think the book was originally owned by Bayard Taylor, and signed by the author. Image available for signature and book. Backstrip shows wear with chipping to top and bottom of backstrip, rear hinge starting.
