New York: Little Leather Library, 1923. Soft cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 48mo - over 3 - 4" tall. this little book (4" x 3") is clean, tight, square and unmarked. It has brown end papers and bright, clear pages bound illustrated with black & white drawings in flexible, green, leatherette embossed with titles on the front and logo on the rear. It is undated, but they stopped publishing under this name in 1923. It's a bit age darkened and lightly rubbed. There's an open tear on first page "Disillusioned".

This is an ex-library book with several stamp and the dust jacket glued to the boards. It is lightly rubbed and mildly age darkened. The dust jacket has light edge wear and a couple of chips. The book is tight and square. It has 383, minimally toned pages bound in light blue cloth covered boards.

New York: Irving Berlin, 1929. Soft cover. Very Good/No Jacket. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. This set of sheet music is clean, square and internally unmarked, but there is a very small name on the front. It has 5 minimally toned pages with a few bars of "The Things That Were Made for Love" on the back. It has light edge wear. Also has ukulele arrangement by May SInghi Breen. The pink & blue front has a nice drawing of a young woman in a red dress

New York: G. Schirmer, 1939. First Thus . Soft cover. Very Good/No Jacket. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. This copy is lightly rubbed at the edges. Pink and white front wrap with black titles over a drawing of a monkey, kite flying boy and mom doing dishes. On the rear wrap are a few bars of other K. Lively tuns including "Circus Pony".

New York: J. C. Nimmo, 1890. Hardcover. Very Good+/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. R. de los Rios. This book is clean, tight, square with sharp corners and unmarked, It is very lightly rubbed and has light surface soil. It has green decorative end papers which are lightly foxed and455, bright clear pages, gilt edged at the top, illustrated by del los Rios' black & white drawings, bound in brown cloth covered beveled boards with bright gold titles on the spine. It has no date, but was within a set of consistent binding where most were 1890 publication.

Boston: The Vendome, 1883. First Thus . Soft cover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. This book is clean, tight, square and unmarked. It is lightly toned. The stapled, outer wraps have some light soil, are split to about halfway, have a faint stain and a small chip from the lower corner. They have been signed by J. W. Wolcott, the proprietor of The Vendome. It is illustrated with marvelous black & white drawings of the area at the time. There is an ad for The Vendome on the rear including the words "it is thoroughly fire-proof", a poignant phrase for people from the Boston area.

This assumed first edition is clean, tight, square with sharp corners and unmarked in an equally fine dust jacket. It is minimally rubbed. the dust jacket has light edge wear. it has 169, clear, minimally toned pages bound in blue cloth covered boards with black titles on the spine and front. The author has inscriber the ffep in his inimitable hand: "To Dennise, who is being dined in my swell joint by her Sis' and her rent payer, the Allens - Good time was had by all. Even Me. Most Sincerely Joe Madden.

It has 111, clear, minimally toned pages bound in gray cloth covered boards with gold titles on the spine and a gold logo on the front.

London: Macmillan, 1865. Leather Bound. Very Good+/No Jacket. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. This leather bound book is from the library of J. Alden Weir and bears the name of Caroline Alden Weir, his daughter and a well known artist in her own right, on the ffep (under the 1887 pencil name of a prior owner). This may actually be her signature. This book is lightly rubbed. It has green marbled end papers and 389, bright, clear pages bound in leather covered boards with 5 raised bands and gilt titles on the spine. The spine has sunned to a mellow brown. This is a lovely book.

Boston: Smith and Poerter Press, 1917. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Soft cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. This little booklet contains a poem "printed for the benefit of the surgical Dressing work and the Red Cross Chapter Arlington Massachusetts". According to an author's preface "This can be called 'a true story' with perfect impunity, as all the details of the narrative were related to me by the dear lady herself, many years ago". The booklet has tan wraps with brown titles on the front, the binding is a piece of yarn. The edges are a bit rubbed. There is a photo of a young woman as frontispiece (can't tell whether it is supposed to be 'Hanna Hall' in the ballad or the author). There is a blacck cameo on a rear end paper.

It has pictorial front end papers 375, bright, clear pages in a one-quarter binding with black cloth and bright silver titles on the spine. The boards, blind stamped with the publisher's symbol are covered in dark green paper.
