This hard-to-find early Deutsche Grammophon LP. circa the early 1960s, presents Bela BARTOK'S VIOLIN CONCERTO, featuring Gyorgy Garay on Violin with the Leipzig Radio Symphony, Herbert Kegel, Conducting. Pressed in Germany, Deutsche Grammophon LPM 18 786, monaural. A Very Good Vinyl Record, meaning it plays well with good sound quality, but does have some surface wear to vinyl, sometimes causing a pop or other surface noise. The Near Fine Record Sleeve, on heavy cardboard, is bright and clean, with a color portrait of Bartok to front, and liner notes by David Starke to rear. This Vintage Vinyl Record is rare in any condition, and features a wonderful interpretation of Bartok's violin concerto (which was first performed in 1939) by Hungarian Violinist Gyorgy Garay, who was at the time of the recording Professor at the Budapest Academy of Music. .
