Drawings appear to be signed Wm. Dean Fausett and are dated 1933. Fausett became a noted painter and did do a series of cowboy pictures in his youth that are similar to these. Note, these are photo copies, not originals.

Covers are scuffed, lightly soiled; tightly bound with plastic clamp binder; inscribed on first page to book's dedicatee 'Because you | deserve it, | what other reason? | Oh, yeah, because | we love you - | Michael + | the other one, | you know his | name, oh, yeah - ' and below that 'Dennis - | you remember | me, don't you?'; interior is bright and clean with hand written corrections on some pages. An additional typed note laid in from 'D' apologizing for taking so long getting this to Kate. Inscription is to Kate Mattes, a prominent Boston area bookseller and to whom this book is dedicated.
