Excellent tones & contrasts; superb detail.
Photograph dimensions: 18 inches by 7 inches
Mat dimensions: 18-1/2 inches by 9-1/2 inches
Photograph condition: near fine; slight bend in mat on left-hand side, with a miniscule effect.
Mat condition: some wear on left edge, with chip on upper left-hand corner.
Image: City of Victor rebuilt after devastating 1899 fire. Most all commercial buildings were reconstructed in stone and brick, as was the Gold Coin Mine in the center of Victor. Ajax, Strong, Stratton's Independence, and Portland mines visible on Battle Mountain Hollywood and Goldfield visible in the background, on the foot of Cow Mountain.
One of the best panoramas taken of the newly revived City of Victor.

Co., Thomas C. and Anne Parrish, artists Original 1898 advertising lithograph was influenced by the Thomas C. and Anne Parrish Art School for the Colorado Springs*, Colorado city-wide Flower Carnival festival. D. V. Donaldson, Secretary of the Colorado Springs Mining Stock Association, was the driving force behind this illustrious festival. The idea originated in as Sunflower Day, 1891 - 1892, and over the years evolved into the Colorado Springs Flower Carnival Festival where floats from all over Colorado participated in the parades. Car numbers listed and exhibited are those that were in current use in 1909.Each page provides a detailed exterior building plan of each passenger car.Condition: very good; front cover appears to have had about an inch and half cut from on a vertical plane, but no information lost.
