This 0ne runs from the preface through "The Illusions of Writers in Verse," and the index. About sheet music size. The work is complete as printed, some leaves are uncut. The author is Father of the British politician. The item is rather worn and age darkened but fully legible. Marbled leather at boards have a trace of abrasion at the bottom and top of spine. Unbumped, clean. There is a warm inscription by Edith Lovell title page. It appears that she may have signed for her husband as well. Additionally, Kay Jensen, who is credited for the artwork, has signed below Mrs. Lovell. The book's sole flaw, if it may be called that, is a trace of mild gapping twixt signatures at the book's center. This "flaw" is evident only when the book is viewed from the top and bottom. A much traveled copy with many flaws cosmetic and structural, which I'll describe in some detail, while remarking that the item is essentially sound, in the sense that it is not coming disbound, text not foxed, unmarked, excellent color, not age darkened. Owners name penned first paste down which has transferred a bit of fountain pen ink to the first end sheet. This sheet also has an embossed booksellers stamp from Bombay. The copyright page reads "copyright 1931" and "printed in Great Britain." 252 paginated pages plus ads. The book has notable degree of cocking, not the worst ever, but major.
