Finland: Republic Pictures Corporation, 1957. 1st Edition . No Binding. Fine. A Finnish A2 one-sheet for the 1953 sci-fi/pulp movie, Canadian Mounties vs Atomic Invaders. The film took a while to get to Finland and was first screened in cinemas in 1957 with no subsequent theatrical runs. This poster is not a modern reproduction or reprinting and nor is it Video/DVD-related This particular poster is a standard size 60cm x 40cm approx, printed by Salonen Oy. It is in superb, Fine condition - unfolded but with pinholes at the corners. No nicks to the edges but a small tear at the top edge. Fully illustrated in colour (artist name in the plate).

Starting to crack at the hinges throughout the book but remains reasonably square and tight. Free from owner names, library markings etc the book is in VG clean condition - apart from a dust-stained top edge. The dustjacket is unclipped but is split at the corners with very minor loss of paper at those places. Some minor marks to the rear panel, else a Good or better dustjacket. Uncommon, thus.

A first-screening poster, printed by Piirtopaino Oy and measures 23.5 inches x 16 inches approx, the standard Finnish A2-sized lobby poster. Artist-signed in the plate. This poster is in very nice condition. There are pinholes to the corners. There is a short tear at the right edge middle, about 1 inch in length. Smaller nick to the right edge near the top. Handling creases to the edges. No folding creases visible, presumably rolled.. The images and colours are bright and vivid, there are no stains on the poster. VG. For best appreciation of condition please examine the high resolution image which accompanies the listing.
