Not to be confused with the 1970 British television movie directed by Alan Bridges. A successful architect and his wife, an academic, face the deterioration of their relationship in their suburban home. Originally written for Swedish television and released in 1970 under the title "Reservatet," the script was translated into English and used for two television movies-one in 1970 in Britain, and one in the US in 1973. 9 x 7 inches. Copy belonging to actor Gilbert Mack, with his name on the title page, and his annotations in manuscript pencil throughout. CBS Radio Mystery Theatre was a radio drama series created by Himan Brown in 1974. It was broadcast on the CBS Radio Network every weeknight until 1982, with 1,399 episodes in total. This episode follows an elderly man who unexpectedly falls into a coma during a routine surgery as a result of medical negligence. Lacking wrappers, possibly as issued. Title page present, undated, with credits for director Himan Brown and screenwriter Ian Martin. 47 leaves, with last page of text numbered 47. Xerographic duplication, rectos only. With mimeo snipe on the recto of the promotional photograph advertising the broadcast of the 10th Annual World Series of Poker as part of the CBS Sports Spectacular, starting on Saturday, November 3, 1979. The mimeo snipe is dated as the Week of October 28, 1979. Photographic print and color separation sheets partially bound with a staple at the top left corner. The 10th Annual World Series of Poker took place from May 11, 1979 until May 22, 1979 and was held at Binions Horseshoe Casino in Las Vegas. N.p.: N.p., 1975. Original poster for a performance by COUM Transmissions held on February 18, 1975 at the Stedelijk Academy in Ghent, Belgium. The third in a series of five performances in the "Omissions" series, the previous two taking place that same month in Belgium and the final two in May and June in Germany. Scarce, with OCLC locating just a single copy. Brainchild of Genesis P-Orridge (nee Neil Megson), COUM Transmissions was an influential and controversial performance art group. Using similar techniques as, and occasionally working with, such experimental artists as William Burroughs, Brion Gysin, and the FLUXUS collective, as well as explicit nudity, bodily fluids, and other taboo material, they created shocking and confrontational exhibitions and happenings. Based on a true story of a Pasadena cab driver who picks up an elderly woman en route to a funeral, who ends up insisting the driver take her on a cross-county trip ending in Vancouver. Berlin: Decla-Bioscop AG, 1921. Vintage double weight matte finish reference photograph from the seminal 1920 silent film. Samuel Goldwyn discovered "Caligari" on a trip abroad, and released this film in the US in 1921, at which time 11 x 14 inch photos such as this one were printed on matte paper. Reference number "4" noted in manuscript pencil at the lower right corner of the recto and on the verso as well. The photograph depicts Werner Krauss as Dr. Caligari walking through the streets of the obtuse-appearing city, a prime example of the most basic elements of what would become known as German Expressionism. Producer Erich Pommer put the set design of the film in the hands of designer Hermann Warm and painters Walter Reimann and Walter Rohrig, whom he had met as soldiers while painting sets for a German military theater. Jane Lindstom's (Glynis Johns) car breaks down and she seeks assistance at the home of a man named Caligari (Dan O'Herlihy), where she soon finds herself prisoner, and none of the other residents seem willing to help. Not a remake of the classic 1920 Robert Wiene film "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari," despite the similarity of the title, though it does contain a similar plot twist. 7 - 8 x 10 inches, 2 - 9.25 x 7 . Koln [Cologne]: N.p., 1982. Draft script for an unproduced German film. Laid in is a manuscript letter addressed to Kinski from Kremser, dated 1982, and signed by Kremser. The letter states that Kremser wrote the screenplay with Kinski in mind as the lead role, in a film that would be a "political science-fiction fairy tale." Both script and letter in German. Universal City, CA: Universal Pictures, 1949. Final shooting script for the 1950 film. Copy belonging to actor Marshall Reed, who here plays the role of the villain, with his name in black manuscript ink on the front wrapper. A ruthless man attempts to rekindle a settled feud between two rancher families in order to take both their lands when they kill each other off. Luckily the town has a good sheriff and a standup rancher gal to help save the day. An odd short musical western with a good crop of the genre's favorite themes (bar brawls, ambushes, sharpshooters) to help round out the plot. Red titled wrappers, noted as FINAL SHOOTING SCRIPT on the front wrapper, production No. A7, dated November 2, 1949. Based on the play "Fleur de cactus" by Barillet and Gredy, starring Walter Matthau as Julian Winston, physician and lover to Toni Simmons, played by Goldie Hawn in her first starring role. Julian tells women he's married to avoid getting involved, annoying Toni. When Julian decides to become exclusive with Toni, she insists on meeting his wife and Julian enlists the aid of his receptionist Stephanie Dickinson (Ingrid Bergman) to act the part.
