Uncommon 1960 digest-sized magazine celebrating, "en el segundo ano de la liberacion cubana", the emancipation of the Island and the spirit of Jose Marti (1853-1895), the revered Cuban nationalist and poet. Crisp and VG in its stapled, pictorial wrappers, with very light rubbing and soiling to the panels. Grainy photos of Marti complement the cultural and literary strides called out in the text.

An immaculate copy to boot of the catalogue based on the 2007 exhibition at the Gagosian Gallery in Los Angeles. Bright and Fine in its pictorial boards. Square quarto, 176 pgs., beautiful color reproductions thruout. Philip Larkin's poem "High Windows" is used here as a narrative to accompany Hirst's stained glass windows and butterflies.

Solid and Near Fine in a bright, price-intact, VG+ dustjacket, with light chipping at the spine ends and very light creasing along the panel edges. 12mo, 192 pgs., nicely illustrated in silhouette by Charles V. John.

London: John Scott and Thomas Ostell, 1803. Half-Leather. Collectible; Very Good. The 1803 1st "John Scott" edition, with the 36 remarkable Holbein copper-plates (and further etched by David Deuchar). A dual text edition, with the descriptions of each plate in both French and English. Bound in half period-calf over marbled boards. A degree of scuffing and wear at the leather, notable chipping and label loss at the spine. Light foxing at specific points in the text but the plates are clean and bright and have held up very nicely. In spite of the (forgivable) flaws, still sturdy and VG-. 12mo, painted by Holbein in the Town House of Basil.
