Jennings). A potpourri of information, poetry, pictures, et cetera. Spielmann 116. Welsh 2264, dating the volume to the 1870s. However, another copy of this edition described by this cataloguer some years ago bore a penciled inscription with initials and the date 1860.

Printed by William M. Cheney. This is the first of two issues, distinguished by the title being stamped directly on the cloth.

Owens candid self published work discusses how he became a successful documentary/commercial photographer including descriptions of all his major projects as well as a discussion of equipment used and his stylistic approach to the medium. Illustrated with a generous amount of reproductions from photographs detailing the 1970s suburban life in Livermore, California that made him famous.

Beautiful full page reproductions of Frank's film and photography work up to the date of publication. This issue also features a portfolio of Callahan's color work also handsomely reproduced. The publication of this issue coincided with a show of Frank and Callahan's work at the Museum of Modern Art, New York curated by Edward Steichen.
