New York: Viking Press, 1990. First Edition, First Printing. Pictorial Wraps. Very Good. Advance Reading Copy. Some minor wear to edge extremitie, small bump to top of spine edge, and very light toning to page edges (only on outside edges). Interior is clean and bright. Signed on the title page by the author. Back cover states that the first printing was 40,000 copies, and the Advance Reading Copy is becoming difficult to find, especially signed. The Author has received many literary awards, including the PEN/Faulkner Award, the PEN/Malamud Prize, the PEN/West Literary Prize, the Commonwealth Gold Medal for Literature, the National Academy of Arts and Letters Award for Prose Excellence. His short fiction has won him six O. Henry Awards for short fiction, and multiple appearances in the Best American Short Story awards.
