Linkenheim, Edition Phantasia, 1986, first edition.. Issued without dust jacket, but with publisher's slipcase, translated by Alexadra von Reinhardt, limited to 250 copies specially bound in black with all edges bright red, with ribbon place marker, although the numbering of the limitation is difficult to read, it is probably No. 146, this first German edition of It is very scarce, it precedes the American edition making it the true first edition, it has been reported that King was not happy with the book and had it suppressed, making it even more difficult to find and, if true, the number of copies would be less than the original 250.
