Externally bumped and scuffed at ends of spine and corners, front board very slightly bowed. Inside, neat ink name dated 1879 to top of half-title page. Faint scattered foxing but first few and last few pages moslty affected. The original owner has made single word notes in the margins in tiny elegant handwriting, legibility of text not affected. Good tight copy.
