Fine/Good-. While the book itself is in excellent condition, the dust jacket has wear, including a gouge near the spine and a small tear in the middle of the top front cover. Julia says about this book in her Introduction: "[This book is] a summation, really, of my 25 years in the kitchen. In contrast to the formality of the two Masterings, which are intended to be textbooks of classical French cuisine and were, furthermore, written in collaboration, [it] is very personal and information...[bursting] into other directions as well. Therefore, she has brought us herself with what the publisher calls "the same consummate responsibility to the reader that make her books different from all the others--with the passion for accuracy, the determination to tell us everything we need to know." Shipped within 48 hours of confirmed purchase.
