Light green cloth with paste down illustration of a squirrel and etched and painted design on front board with red, blue and black type. Thirty illustrations by J. Watson Davis. Missing color frontis. Some shelf wear. Front and ack hinge cracked, book is hanging literally by threads. Front paste down is scuffed away from top corner. Name written in pencil on free facing end page. Tear on bottom of pages 31-32, some text is affected. Foxing, text is unmarked.
